We had a great painting class yesterday using the preparation material, it is such fun striving together rather than all struggling independently.
This collage was another part of the work done before and then I played with my new oils !!!!
Then....the colour stepped in.........
Miriam gave me a "wand" and poked it on the front of my 1993 Volvo estate......people did look at me, sadly it disappeared at Officeworks yesterday but I used it for my day picture

Beutiful post, your work is always great, I like more when the color stepped in.
Have a nice day.

Hi Janette, I don't know if you did those in the order posted, but looks like you started in a subdued mood, then became exuberant! Wonderful colors...
Wonderful to see the progression of this Sonehenge series...ending with splash of colors!
Congratulations on the auction...sale!
Love the collage Jan, and WOW then the colour...
Lovely the "wand" got to see a far bit of Melb, in it's travels. It was the best "bonnet ornament" I had ever seen!!!
I love seeing this sequence, my favorites are the colored paintings too... Roxanne
What fun for you and Jo to get together to do some print making (and shopping).
Made me smile when I saw your painting of stone henge...and then colour stepped in...love it!!!
Congratulations on selling your home too.
how fun to see how everyone approached the task so differently!!
I new there had to be some colour eventually.
I like the colurful ones the best, very 'you'
Someone stole the wand because it was so cool.
never mind i have more :)
Your paintings are beautiful :))
Love all the colour, like me a pure colourist. Uni is great but an awful lot of work especially all that art history essays, much prefer the creative side. Stonehenge is very inspiring with its abstract shapes. Pleased you sold your house! It must be time for a change.
You handle those oils with boldness! I love the powerful strokes.
And I want one of those wispy wands. Looks like you could make some magic with that.
