CONTENTED COLOUR

Welcome to my blog, back on track after a time off, my world of art in all persuasions has enlarged so much and it is truly wonderful.
A great deal of it through the blogging world, I had never realised what an amazing community it can become.

I am a retired musician singer/pianist and teacher and now "play" within the visual arts. I vacillate between the need to develop and grow and 'just having a good time'
I began as a potter soon after I left school, and about 10 years ago gave up clay completely in favour of the more 'gentle' arts

Though thinking back, when I lived in England and was on tour with an opera company, I carried a very modest hanging which I had made and whenever I went to new 'digs'...hung it up somewhere in the room...and I was at 'home'

Cloth is such a comfort and painting is so exciting...how lucky to be able to do it all
