Wandering

I have just been wandering through Blogland, it both sounds and is a wonderful fantastic journey..........the things I am inspired to make after the journey!
Now the exhibition is on the walls we are free to "play without intent" so we are going to make a box...any box....container or........Well my mind is racing but still have visitors so a bit limited.
I loved making this box and I sold it at the exhibition and I am specially pleased as it went to an artist friend of mine
This is a box I made with canvas, it certainly has many possibilities, and could be reinforced with card, I do like it a bit floppy though.

I painted a little domino box and did a little tapestry back wall in front are coloured papers on wire it is only small, about 6 inches high,I shall keep you posted on the progress of the next one.

I had to add todays morning picture with Jo.

We have had warnings from the police about the fire danger today even everyone within Victorian fire vicinities receiving a text message on their phone.

What a huge present to wake up this morning and see misty rain, not a lot but enough to lift the spirits. I can only hope those in dire need are getting it also.

I adore your fabric bead box Janette, it was one of my favourite things at the exhibition. I love your tapestry one too, especially with the black and white edging.
It was wonderful to see the rain, even if only briefly, we just have to wait for the wind to go away now. We have certainly been at the mercy of the elements this year.

Love all of the boxes and look forward to seeing your next WIP.

Congratulations on your exhibition and I look forward to visiting soon. I so wish I could have made it to the opening and would have loved to take part in your demonstrations. Talented group of ladies!

I love your blog, wonderful colour and ideas. You truly love colour and texture and have a gift for design. I really like your indian inspired bedroom, I'd like one just like it. I am also interested in photography and take ideas for abstract paintings from mine.
