I know I said my New years resolution was that I would draw each day..... it is true that last year I made the same vow.
Here are two of those pages, the first quote is by Henry Miller and the second Lois Pasteur.
( I realise that it is difficult to read.)..so here it is.
"Develop interest in life as you see it, in people, things, literature, music- the world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls and interesting people.
Forget youself."
and the second "Chance favours only the prepared mind"Tomorrow the pieces for the exhibition go to the gallery to be hung
We are really puting ourselves "on the line" now.
Certain level of tension, having never done this before!?
I think the demonstrations on the next day will be more relaxing....feel confident with the teaching and "chatting" bit.

Love the pages and the quotes. It must be very exciting now your exhibition is only days away. Good luck and I hope to make it to the opening night.
Good luck with your exhibition Janette. I cant get there until after Sunday (so disappointed), but I will be there as soon as I get home again.
Sooooo looking forward to your exhibition!
Hi Jeanette! - your drawings are wonderful and I also love the picture of you in your sidebar pouring a libation and a huge pile of gifts! a birthday? - am counting down the days for your opening from here! you will all be a huge success!
Lovely work; so good to share. And, please, where is St John's in Camberwell; for when I read this, I fogot you live on Australia and instantly thought of Camberwell in S.E. London where I taught in the late 1950s. (Ann, from UK)
Exciting just thinking about your opening with your wonderful group of supportive artists...! Best wishes!
Hi Janette, I have a real "thing" for Icon's...takes me back to going to Greek Orthodox Church with my mum when I was little. Loved them then too...Your pages are fantastic!
