Sleep-over

I have just had a sleep-0ver at my friend Jeanette's house in inner Melbourne...not far and I could come home but it is such fun to stay over...and... I come back truly refreshed and ready to go!
Before our group decided on four letter words we had general challenges. One was "Borders" so I made a little book in which I placed a photo of a border, mostly international ones..and some not... then I made a little textile piece on the opposite page...I think the binding is made of curtain rings.
This one seems to me to be so poignant...between North and South Korea
These two are between North America and Mexico
I think these types of books and art works are my favourite relaxation.

Janette this is fantastic! What a wonderful interpretation of borders. Really enjoyed looking at these photos and your art work. Hopefully one day I might get to see this book in the flesh.
Pop over to my blog, you have been tagged. No obligation to play along, but a bit of fun to see what you have hidden away in your computer files and share it with us all.
Wonderful post. I am going back to take another look at these photos.

Hi Janette,
just became a follower of your blog. I was working with books myself for the last time and am happy to find yours.
You did beautifully.
