The Very Stuff

I know that Jo has mentioned on "Mystory" about our forthcoming exhibition but thought I would show you a couple of things I have made to wear on the night

These are made of bits of canvas.

I always clean my palette using it like a monoprint on ...whatever happens to be near at the time, paper or fabric, in this case I used canvas.

Our group is called "The Very Stuff" and the exhibition is called " Four Letter Words".

I do not use "hardware" all that frequently so the eyelets proved a great initiation for a relationship to develop between the hammer and my thumb.

My friend from the group , Carolyn, has given me a few tips so the next experience may be less vocal than the first.

This is the next stage of the collage. The main difficulty is that I wanted it to be a bit like a patchwork quilt, with stitching and not as random as other collages

If anyone has any suggestions I would be very happy to give things a try.

Lovely jewlery! And how fun it will be to wear for the opening!
I like what is happening with your collage. Shapes, colors, textures, movement. It will be fun to see what you do next!

The canvas jewelry is fantastic! And your collage is coming along nicely. I always like seeing the different stages of a work of art.

Oh Janette...you are very clever creating all that jewellery for the exhibition.
I need to to something don't I...I feel like the most "unadorned" of this group...in fact, I know I am :)
It's good to see this next step of your collage...I think stitching will definately bring some "connectedness", if thats what you want.
